Q. What type of equipment do you use?
A. We use state-of-the-art Elmo TR8 and TRS8V transfer equipment: a direct-transfer system that minimizes flicker and ensures proper framing and focus, and optimum color. We do NOT use video cameras or projectors, which commonly are used at discount retail-chain stores.

As it is sourced into our computer, our qualified technician monitors your precious movies on a television screen and makes specific corrections throughout the entire transfer process.

Q. If my films were stored in the attic or basement, will they be OK?
A. Attic storage can cause excessive heat, and usually washes and fades out color. Basement storage can cause mold, which usually eats away at film celluloid, destroying the film.
In most cases, however, our film cleaner can remove nearly all molds, dust, and debris.

Q. What type of music will you put on my transfer?
A. We play easy listening instrumental songs — the type of music you enjoy on the radio, or at work or play.

Q. Can I have extra video copies made during the initial order?
A. Copies make unique gift ideas. Why not order extras for family and friends? One copy is only $14. Or save $3, and order two for $25.
(Individual copies are based on tape lengths of up to 120 minutes.)

Q. How good will the quality be?
A. The quality of your copies will be exceptional because we source all our films into a Mac computer program, where we maintain color management, contrast and brightness adjustments, etc. Our equipment maintains signal clarity and minimizes signal loss.
